SPF Print Championship

It was a good day for our club as newbies to this competition. The scores for each print will be on the club website. There were over 1300 images to go through (colour and Mono), from 30 clubs across Scotland taking part.

A massive well done to Stuart Clyne who won the Highly Commended Newbie Print.

The club came 
4th in the Mono category 
11th in the Colour category 
7th overall 

The scoring for each image is below, please note that it is out of 15.

“What a great day we had at the Scottish Photographic Federation Club Print Championships today.  Nine MCC members made the trip to Stirling to see the judging of over 1300 prints.  It was a long day, but for us, a successful one.  In the mono print section we came fourth equal, we were 11th in the colour section and overall we came a very creditable 7th out of about 30 Scottish clubs.  This shows that we have a strong collection of photographers in the club, and I hope that we can build on this success and do even better next year.
