Rene de Heer’s main interest is bird photography, although he also shoots wildlife and landscapes.  He creates his images in-camera, limiting post processing to a minimum, ‘after all, a pig in lipstick is still a pig.’  Here, he talks about his trips around Europe and beyond, how he goes about finding the hides, with images from his successful shoots, and also from occasions when things didn’t go quite as planned.
